Programs

Summer Reading Program is for children from preschool through sixth grade.  Reading logs are kept to qualify for prizes.  Programs are held weekly for six weeks.

Preschool Story Time is held on Tuesday mornings at 10:15 am from September through May.

Packets of activities to take home were provided weekly during the summer of 2020 and for three weeks during the fall of 2020.

Special programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Library including a Fall Festival and a Spring Author Event.

Literature Circles, grades 3-5, Tuesdays 1:00 - 2:00.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten is year-round go at your own pace program for kids from birth until they start kindergarten.  For each 50 books that are read there is a small prize for the child, and for 100 books a book, for 500 books a book bag, and for 1000 books a t-shirt.

 

Resources

Early Literacy Station is a computer for ages 2-8.  It has over 60 educational software programs.  It requires no internet connection so it is safe and secure.
