Entrepreneur Book Series

Lyon County residents, entrepreneurs and businesses now have access to the 54-book Entrepreneur Media series courtesy of the Lyon County Riverboat Foundation (LCRF) and Lyon County Economic Development (LCED). A grant from the Lyon County Riverboat Foundation to Lyon County Economic Development made this reference series possible.

"This Entrepreneur Media library series will provide Lyon County residents and entrepreneurs with access to information that they may use as they seek to start businesses or improve already existing businesses," according to LCED director Steve Simons. "With increased interest in small businesses in Lyon County, this educational tool will be a valuable resource in that process."

The complete library includes the five-book business startup series of Creating a Successful Business Plan, Financing Your Small Business, Marketing Your Small Business, Selling Your Products, and Starting Your Own Business. The 46 titles range from Restaurants and Other Food Businesses and Retail Stores to Child Care Services and Hair Salon and Day Spa.

"The series covers a wide range of business oppotunities," added library director Linda McCormack. "The Rock Rapids Public Library is pleased to add this to its inventory of reference materials for the people of Rock Rapids and Lyon County."

For more information, Lyon County residents may contact Steve Simons, Lyon County Economic Development at 712-472-8546 or Rock Rapids Development Corporation at 712-470-3762.
